I run an international export facility as a part of that operation
I am overseen by New Zealand Food Safety Authority. Part of the requirements
involving monitoring all my freezers. As I export my products via
reefer (frozen) containers I need an accurate monitoring system that
meets my requirements and those set by the NZFSA. Containers are required
to be monitored every twice daily, which incurs a huge cost especially
over holiday periods etc.

my reefer containers electronically, but will inform me wherever I
am in the world that they are having a problem. Or that someone has
left a door open, and also allows me to log the temp every minute
if I require.

let me know what is going on and in which reefer. I can also access
the monitors via my laptop from anywhere in the world...a valuable
tool for peace of mind for anyone relaying on information on their
storage facilities.
It also allows me to pre-empt problems before they arise, by allowing
me to monitor temp fluctuations in any of my freezers/chillers.
So far the equipment have saved me the contents of 2 x 40` refer containers
and help the engineers source the problem instantly. That alone has
saved my company $80,000.
I can and would recommend anyone who needs peace of mind and a system
that meets the NZFSA standards, plus protection from potentially large
losses to install this system. The other thing you will be very surprised
at is the cost and flexibility this system offers.
